Tablet X VIR 1 mg is an antiviral drug which is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in patients with severe liver abnormalities. It reduces the amount of virus in the patient's body, but it does not cure the disease. This medicine also may not prevent the complications of hepatitis B like liver cirrhosis. It also does not prevent the spread of HBV to other people.

X-Vir 1mg Work

X VIR 1 mg Tablets prevents the multiplication of HIV virus in human cells. Thus stops the HIV virus from producing new viruses. Entecavir belongs to the class of drugs called nucleoside analogues. It works by inhibiting hepatitis B viral polymerase by blocking the reverse transcriptase activity. Thus, it inhibits the synthesis and multiplication of viral DNA.

Precautions

  • Avoid taking the medicine if you are allergic to X VIR 1 mg price Tablet or similar drugs.
  • Do not drive or operate heavy machinery if X VIR 1mg Tablet causes dizziness or blurred vision.
  • Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may alter the absorption of X VIR 1mg Tablet.
